Towards the end of the year 2010 the small spa town of Luhačovice, located in the Zlín region in Moravia, saw the opening of its newly renovated swimming pool. The pool was originally built in the 1920s by the architect Bohuslav Fuchs but due to the building's inability to meet European standards, the need for renovation arose. The result of the refurbishment is astonishing and worth a visit this summer.
