Amanita Design is an independent Czech game development studio famous namely for its point and click game Samorost. Since its founding in 2003 the studio has designed flash games for renowned companies, including Nike and the BBC.
Machinarium is the studio's first full-length game and (just like its predecessor Samorost) has received several international prizes, including the Independent Games Festival, Excellence in Visual Art Award.
In addition to flash games, the portfolio of Amanita Design includes websites and animation. Amanita's Jakub Dvorský has even worked on the production design of the Czech film Kuky by the director Jan Svěrák.
